BELA, next to the tools it gets compared with

Thirty capability questions across five engineering layers, each answered from the vendor’s own documentation and dated. Including the ones BELA does not win.

How to read these pages

Each page asks the same capability questions of each product and answers them from the vendor’s own published documentation, recording the URL and the date it was read.

There is no ranking and no overall winner. These products overlap heavily in generating an application; where they differ is the engineering either side of that, and which of those differences matters depends entirely on what you are building.

Where a vendor’s documentation does not address a question, the page says “Not documented” rather than guessing — a gap in someone’s documentation is not a gap in their product, and BELA claims nothing from it.

Every page also carries a section on what these products do that BELA does not. It is there because a comparison that never concedes anything is not a comparison.
